Even if it is right, it's still only a link to a single incident. Ignores canonical five (remaining 4) and gives little or nothing of anything else.

Also the author of the book says that he is protecting the identity of the supposed long-lost relative of the Polish suspect. That is very convenient, isn't it.

Darby - not saying it isn't a possibility, just that it is unlikely, given his record and how he was.
He wasn't a suspect at the time, apparently. He comes up via the McNaughton (not sure of spelling) memorandum.
Trouble is, McN was a twat with little of no idea of anything. As with a number of senior officers who had their four penneth some years later.
Abberline thought it was George Chapman. But even he doesn't fit, aside from being a wife killer. Different m.o.
Kosminski is almost universally dismissed. But then, this might place him there.

Too good to be true. Scarf found, never washed, etc.
Regarding the DNA: he goes to the victims relative, and goes to the Polish blokes relative. Says can I have a DNA swab to text a scarf. They both provide swabs. He then puts traces of their DNA on the scarf from the swabs. He then gets a modicum of scientific respectability by getting a scientist to test the DNA, which, lo and behold, matches. He then sells another book in the Ripper industry.

kirok, it could be that he was just a client, but it sounds like too much of a coincidence to me. Blood and semen on the same scarf and the owner of the semen was one of the main suspects in the Ripper murders.
Lots of people have silly theories about Jack the Ripper, but I've never seen one as convincing as this. It'll be interesting to see if other experts can replicate his DNA findings.

Clearly a master manipulator, and did indeed convince others to kill, but a really interesting character.

Not a great game but I suppose it passes some time without really being interesting at all. A bit like watching BFS's West Ham.

Good chance he died or left the country after Mary Kelly. Kosminski hung around in the area and no more killings that match the m.o. Locked up in 1891.
Every year there's a new theory based on NEW evidence. It just adds more haze to an unsolvable mystery as the primary evidence went up in smoke decades ago.

Darby - she was a prostitute doing tricks for a penny a time. He lived within a mile of the killings. Could he not have been a client?
Autopsy reports showed no sign of direct sexual activity from the killer in any cases as far as my reading says.
Find it a mite trite and convenient.
